Many people, especially teenagers, are under the impression that E-Cigarettes are the “healthy” alternative to smoking. However, the use of E-Cigarettes, also known as vaping, has many adverse health risks. To educate individuals about prevention of the health complications associated with vaping, BYU College of Nursing faculty member Brandon Thatcher, as well as students Ann Peterson and Morgan Utley, created a presentation. In the presentation, they discuss risk factors, long-term health impact, and how parents can help their teenagers quit vaping.
