A group of fifth semester nursing students played intramural soccer during the fall semester and made it to the championship game during the fall semester.
The girls tie-dyed T-shirts to use as team jerseys throughout their season, and called their team “nursing.” The College of Nursing provided the players with “Nursing Students Kick It!” T-shirts for the final game. The girls played rather well, remaining undefeated until the championship game. They took second place, barely losing in overtime (4-3).
“What a great bunch of kids we have,” associate teaching professor Ron Ulberg said. ” I wish I could take credit for them.”
